I have always loved to sing, it has been my life long hobby, but when my youngest son Zechariah died at 22 years young, I knew that in honour of his life I must sing for him. Zechariah was diagnosed with ADHD (Attention Deficit hyperactivity Disorder). As a result of his condition he struggled with depression through frustration. Zechariah was a bright, articulate, good looking boy with super motor skills that hid his disability. His journey was a tough one and his experience of life rich, like a large multi coloured tapestry. Zechariah hit many highs and many lows. Often persons who he thought to be allies sadly proved not to be so.

I therefore embarked on singing publicly as a direct inspiration from the loss of my son. Zechariah and I often sang together when he was alive. My first album is therefore a tribute to my son and it is being marketed to raise awareness of the condition ADHD and the benefits of Dance Therapy. All Shining Star CDs sold will raise money for two charities, ADDERS - the attention deficit hyperactivity disorder support group, and DANCE VOICE - the dance therapy centre in Bristol, England, that not only works with clients but trains dance therapists.

All Profits from sales of Shining Star CDs go to charity.

My children loved Bear Necessities and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star sang by yourself and 'A' summed it up.

    The enclosed booklet was designed and illustrated beautifully with lots of love and a lovely insight to Zechariah life. He was a gorgeous young man and definitely a shining star.
